Cheetah a favourite amongst practical boaters
For over 25 years Cheetah Marine have been building bespoke catamarans for the commercial market. Increasingly over recent years, leisure customers have seen the benefits of such a well-built and capable craft.
Practicality was a key requirement in designing “Wight Horses”. The boat was designed as an all out leisure, fishing and cruising catamaran for a couple who like to explore the volatile waters south of the Isle of Wight, beach at different locations around the Solent and embark on longer sea voyages, exploring the west country and Channel Islands.
‘Wight Horses’ is a 10.2m Cheetah with a weekend style set up featuring galley, berths and deck shower. A new style dive platform accommodates a Honda dingy for exploring the shore when anchored. This model is available from 9.2 - 11.2m and has been favoured by charter skippers whose requirement is to carry more passengers and load at high speeds in rough conditions. It is also the largest, meanest and most capable of the Cheetah Series, outperforming many similar sized monohull in the roughest of conditions.
