HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM CHEETAH MARINE
Greetings and Happy New Year to all our customers from everyone here at Cheetah Marine. The Cheetah workshops at Ventnor, Isle of Wight are working at full steam for the current orders leading into the summer season. Recent builds and deliveries include 'NoordWester' an angling boat delivered to Holland in December and 6.9m commercial fishing Cheetah for Norfolk.
So a quick count up for 2010:
- 27 Cheetahs were built to order and delivered
- most popular model was the 6m series with 10 of these built
- second popular was the 8.5m with 7 built in total
- the furthest delivery was 8.5m 'Piscatio' to Banff in Scotland
- 'Piscatio' was the third Cheetah ordered and delivered to Robert Wallace who has upgraded from a 6.2m to 7.9m and now 8.5m.
- nearest delivery was to Ventnor Haven - 2 commercial fishing Cheetahs join the Ventnor Fishing Fleet
- Cheetah Marine also celebrate 21 years of building and testing over 280 catamarans
And on the roll for 2011:
- 11.2m Remote Location Series to be delivered to remotest UK mainland atLoch Nevis
- 9.9m commercial fishing Cheetah for Baltic Coast Germany
- another 7.9m for Island Owner Nadim Sadek who currently operates a 6.9m Cheetah and a 11.2m Cheetah
- Replacement 9.95m commercial catamaran for John Davis, coxswain of Cromer lifeboat who still fishes his original 9.95m Cheetah from 13 years ago
